1966 Plymouth Belvedere – Rear Floor Pan Replacement (In Progress) This classic 1966 Plymouth Belvedere rolled into HD Industries in Bear River needing major structural work on the rear floor pan. The original pan was rusted beyond saving – typical for these Mopars after decades of exposure.

The client sourced a complete, rust-free rear floor pan all the way from Nevada (dry desert metal at its best). We’re giving this Belvedere the solid foundation it deserves to handle Nova Scotia roads and salt for years to come.

What We’ve Done So Far

• Carefully cut out the entire original rear floor pan, removing all rusted and compromised metal

• Sandblasted the new Nevada pan to bare metal for perfect prep

• Coated it inside and out with 2K epoxy primer and industrial-grade urethane for maximum corrosion resistance

Currently in Progress

• Welding the new pan in place with clean, strong seams for factory-plus strength

• Re-working surrounding panels for perfect fit, alignment, and structural integrity

This is a no-shortcuts job – everything’s being done in-house to ensure it’s safe, solid, and roadworthy. No bondo, no patches – just proper metal replacement.
